You can make a difference . . . 

As a volunteer at Blue Water Christian Church you become a part of the ministry team.  Watching a game is fun but fulfillment comes from being a player.  We want to invite you to take the plunge and get involved.

There are three paths you could take . . .

Path 1, "I think I know what I want to do . . ." 

If that's you, just call or email Pastor Bruce with what you sense you would like to do.  To aid you in choosing, check out our suggestions for serving in ministry from the categories to the left that interest you.

A personal appointment is available to aid you in knowing what your next step is in becoming involved in the area in which you are most interested.

Then "dive in" and give it a try.  Don't be afraid to check out areas that interest you.  We want you to find the place that God has for you and help you identify your Spiritual Gifts.

Path #2, The SHAPE Path

Here at Blue Water Christian Church we believe that the ministry that will bring you the most fulfillment and fruitfulness is determined by your SHAPE or God-given design.

What God made you to be is determined by what He intends for you to do. We will understand the purpose we were created for when we understand the kind of person we are. God is consistent with His plan for each of our lives. He would not give us inborn talents, temperaments, spiritual gifts and a whole array of life experiences and not intend to use them. By reviewing and studying these factors, we can discover the ministry God has for us; the unique way God intends for us to serve Him.

At Blue Water Christian Church we focus on the individual approach to ministry. It's not about what we want you to do or even needing someone to do, it's about what God has wired you to do. We like to come alongside and help you discover what your ministry shape is. And then assist you in finding where that shape is intended to fit into God's big plan of service.

Here at Blue Water Christian Church we will look at five personal factors that God has used over the years to form and shape you for the ministry He wants you to have.

Path #3, Dive-in and get your feet wet

This is more of a trial-and-error method of ministry exploration. If you know where you want to serve you can contact Pastor Bruce and volunteer your services.
